Introducing Backend.AI:GO

At CES, Lablup (booth #9529) will unveil Backend.AI:GO, a consumer application designed for personal use, alongside our enterprise AI infrastructure solution, Backend.AI. Backend.AI:GO stands for "Generative On-device" and is a desktop application that runs small language models (sLMs) directly on your PC without requiring cloud connectivity.

With Backend.AI:GO, users can freely use downloaded language models offline after the initial download. This enables secure use cases like internal document analysis, image understanding and generation, and code review without security concerns. Users can also connect multiple GO devices together or integrate with existing Backend.AI environments and cloud AI services from OpenAI, Google, and others. Additionally, Backend.AI:GO allows individuals to benchmark and compare sLM performance.
